"At King's College London, I had the opportunity to offer mentoring sessions to students and graduates of the university. As someone who has benefited greatly from mentoring, it was a privilege to be able to offer something in return."

The Financial Times (UK & Asia), at the London HQ: Panel discussion and Q&A on the topic - 'Mental Health in Black Communities: Stigma, Barriers & Inequity'
Panel: Dr Dapo Olafimihan (Clinical Psychologist), Dr Ashley Peart (Clinical Psychologist)
Facilitated by: Ms Liszel Nathaniel (Global Training Manager, Financial Times)
"Dr Ashley Peart and I were invited by the Financial Times' Embrace team to prepare a talk exploring the mental health concerns of black people in the UK. It was an area they were particularly interested in and we had great experience collaborating with FT Embrace to make our time with them a valuable one. A special thanks to the FT Embrace team and colleagues who attended from UK, India and beyond! "

Talking about psychology at Earlham Primary School!
Date: 14th July 2021
"As part of a day talking to young people about their careers, I had the privilege of talking to the children of Earlham Primary School (Forest Gate, London). My favourite question of the day came from one student: 'so people just talk to you about feelings... and you just listen to them?! That must be rewarding'."

Inside Out Wellbeing - Arts Event
Date: September 2017
Invited to speak on a night hosted by 'Inside Out Wellbeing' exploring mental heath and the performing arts. Musicians, writers and creatives of different types were invited to be the audience and participate in a lively discussion about the mind.
"I spoke with the aim of simply getting across some ideas around mental health, stress, anxiety and depression.
I had a lot of fun here and the reception from the audience helped fan the flame of the importance of making ideas around psychology and mental health better understood. "
